| Duo 4 by 6 has a
wide range of performing experience and has travelled extensively
throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. They regularly
give recitals, and are musicians for Music in Hospitals. This
scheme devotes itself to bringing high-class concerts to those
who cannot travel to the concert hall. They have played for business
events, weddings, champagne receptions, parties, restaurants,
building openings, pubs store promotion days, funerals, festivals
and more. The diverse nature of their repertoire makes them appeal
to many different audiences. In good weather the group can also
perform outdoors.

| DANIEL MACFARLANE (Guitar),
graduated from Salford University in 2004 with a first class B.A.
in Music. From an early age he developed an interest in virtuosic
playing, song-writing, harmony, composing and arranging. Daniel
is responsible for arranging much of the repertoire the Duo plays,
and this means that both Guitar and Violin share the roles of
melody and harmony lines.
